Carmen A. Rodriguez “Kany”

The Chihuahua City, Mexico native shares her enthusiasm to paint, create and mold her ideas on canvas as part of everyday life. Her goal is composition and light, painting with expressive use of color and brushstrokes, mastering the technique “a la Prima” and Impasto. Her work, under her signature of KANY, garners top accolades and awards in the U.S. and Mexico among museums, corporate shows and public, international juried exhibitions. She had a solo show in Chihuahua, Mexico and another in El Paso, Texas, sponsored by the Mexican government and the Mexican Consulate. Kany initially studied with the former curator of El Museo de Puebla, Eugenio Flores Reyes, before focusing on Impressionism at the Titovets School of Fine Art, under the guidance of Aleksander and Lyuba Titovets.
