David Fickett
Living 40 years in New Jersey and Tennessee, and the last 22 years in El Paso, Fickett aspired at an early age to become an architect based on his natural ability to draw. Yet, the required civil engineering degree was not workable. After a successful 40 years in insurance and finance, he turned to his full-time pursuit of art. An El Paso Museum of Art intro course lead to studying with world renowned classical impressionist Aleksander Titovets, with whom he continues to work and study. His efforts continually receive recognition at various art exhibitions. |
